It is a reluctant spring here in little Rhode Island, read: late March and we had a mini-snow storm just yesterday. Despite that, little glimpses of spring color have been a welcome sight. Here are some soon-to-be for sale items that are happily hued:
top row: Banana Republic kelly green tank, J.Crew cotton print tee, Marimekko tote bottom row: J.Crew orchid cardigan, Lux chambray skirt, Voom by Joy Han cotton and silk print dress
It appears most of the printed items from the first collection are already sold out!! pooh, I guess I will have to admire from afar..
Anyone else hyped about the Ines de la Fressange collaboration with Uniqlo? Apparently the first two collections debut tomorrow 3/17 and the rest, April and May. Here are a few of my favorite pieces from the line:
The cotton floral lawn dress is especially swoonworthy but I have a feeling it may be too long. I may pounce on the button down though....
As a native Californian, the brutal New England winters are still
difficult for me to get used to ;) to help endure the bitter cold, dreaming of ditsy florals in light hues is always a mood booster. Counting down the days til I can bust out my favorite floral prints and sandals!!
Max Studio Liberty Print cotton skirt and Vintage Handmade floral dress all available here!
top row: Steven Alan button down, Tretorn Skerry Vinter rubber boots, MiH Paris slim cropped jeans bottom row: Banana Republic cotton skirt with pockets, Built by Wendy mid rise jeans, Gap breton stripe tee
To me, a classic neutral button down, breton stripes, well made dark skinny jeans (ie, they don't stretch out!), and a black skirt with pockets are wardrobe basics. The olive green Tretorn boots are a utilitarian and stylish addition to these pieces and give a English seaside vibe.
